Our Story
Wear Your Values. Change Starts at Home.
Civic Threads was born from a simple truth: the real battles shaping our future aren’t just happening in D.C.—they’re happening in school board meetings, city councils, and community halls across the country.
As national politics became increasingly polarized, I saw that division trickle down to our neighborhoods. People started voting like it was a team sport, blindly sticking to red or blue, even when everyone in town wanted the same things—safe schools, clean water, and a livable future. That disconnect lit a fire in me.
I created Civic Threads for the moms showing up to school board meetings, for the volunteers knocking on doors before a city council vote, and for every progressive who’s fed up with the chaos at the top and ready to build something better from the ground up.
I believe local action is the most powerful form of change. And I also believe in subtle rebellion—that what you wear can be both stylish and meaningful. I’m a graphic designer by trade, and I wanted to use my craft not just to create cool shirts, but to build a movement. Civic Threads is where art meets advocacy.
When you wear Civic Threads, you join a community of thoughtful agitators, compassionate neighbors, and first-time candidates. You make a statement—even when it’s quiet. And with every purchase, you’re helping fund grassroots organizations that train and support new leaders running for office in their own hometowns.
This isn’t merch. It’s civic armor.
Thanks for showing up.
